This policy applies to all information collected or submitted on The Point of Sale Cloud’s Team Minder App (Team Minder) for iPhone, Android and any other devices and platforms.
Information we collect
When creating an account, you will be asked to enter a mobile number and a password. Mobile numbers are only used for logging in, password resets, texting invitations to team members to join the app which you may initiate, and notifications that you request. We don’t send promotional text messages. To use the Team Minder App, either you or the company you work for has to be licensed and have an active subscription to pointofsale.cloud. We store information that you or your team members provide to the Team Minder App and we sync some of that information with the Point of Sale Cloud application. This is an App with private scope, it only allows a selective number of users to access it for a limited time as dictated by their role and security permissions.
If you enable mobile notifications, we must store a token to send them. We never use notifications for marketing. For convenience once you sign up to use the Team Minder App, we store on your device the credentials you used to login so that next time you use the Team Minder App it will be able to log you in automatically. Our server software may also store basic technical information, such as your IP address, and which functions you used for auditing and security purposes. It also allows us to know which functionality our users use the most and help us prioritize updates.
We use the information we collect to operate and improve our website, apps, and customer support. We do not share personal information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to accomplish Team Minder’s functionality. We may disclose your information in response to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal requirements; to exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims; to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud or abuse, violations of our policies; or to protect our rights and property. We may also disclose your information as required by your employer whose data you are using on Team Member as required for them to work with you and also for security and audit purposes.
We implement a variety of security measures to help keep your information secure. For instance, all communication with the app and website requires HTTPS. Accessing, changing, or deleting your information You may access or change your information or to make changes to areas of the system that you have rights to access.
